TGT Computer Teacher

Position Summary:
The Computer Teacher is responsible for teaching students essential computer skills, promoting digital literacy, and guiding them in the use of technology for academic and personal growth. The role includes lesson planning, classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, and assessment of student performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach computer fundamentals, including hardware, software, and digital tools.
• Deliver lessons on MS Office, internet usage, typing skills, and basic coding (as per school curriculum).
• Conduct practical computer lab sessions and ensure the safe use of equipment.
• Introduce students to educational technologies and digital learning platforms.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with school standards.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and troubleshoot basic computer hardware/software issues during class.
• Encourage responsible digital citizenship and online safety.
• Collaborate with school staff on technology-related projects and activities.
• Keep records of student performance and prepare reports as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.Ed preferred for some institutions).
• Strong knowledge of computer applications and basic programming.
• Classroom management and instructional skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patience, creativity, and ability to engage students of various learning levels.

Work Environment:

• Classroom and computer lab setting.
• Involves working with students individually and in groups.
• May require participation in school events, training, and extracurricular activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
