Textile Print Designer

The Textile Print Designer position at Saku, a fast-growing omni-channel D2C fashion house with both online and offline stores, is a full-time role situated in Gurugram. As a Textile Print Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create and innovate print designs for textiles. This includes tasks like developing new designs, producing placement and AOP prints, collaborating with the fashion design team, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics, and keeping up-to-date with textile design trends. Key qualifications for this role include proficiency in Print Design and Textiles, a strong understanding of surface techniques, the ability to create prints from scratch both manually and digitally, knowledge of placement prints and AOP, as well as graphics and graphic design skills. The ideal candidate should possess excellent creativity, attention to detail, and be adept at using design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Moreover, the role necessitates the ability to work effectively in a team environment, hence collaboration skills are crucial. A Bachelors degree in Textile Design from a top-tier design institute is required, while relevant work experience in textile design would be advantageous.
