Textile Designer - Madeups

You will be responsible for developing original designs for made-up textiles, including prints, patterns, and textures. Your role will involve collaborating with the product development team to select materials and ensuring that designs meet production capabilities. Additionally, you will create technical specifications and documentation for samples and production. It is important for you to conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform your design decisions. Working with color palettes and coordinating fabric selections to enhance product appeal will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to prepare and present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, oversee the sampling process to ensure quality standards are met, and maintain an organized library of designs and samples for future reference. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in textile design, specifically in made-ups. - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs. - A strong portfolio showcasing your design work, particularly in made-ups. GM Fabrics is a company hiring for the position of Textile Designer - Madeups in their design department based in Marol, Andheri(East). The work days are from Monday to Saturday with Sunday off and 2 alternate Saturdays off. This is a full-time job opportunity where you will be eligible for health insurance and paid time off.
