Textile Designer and Graphic Designer

As a part of a team at Jaipur Rugs, your responsibilities will involve producing sketches and sample designs to contribute to our modern and eclectic collection of luxurious handmade carpets. You will utilize specialist computer software to assist in creating designs that uphold our traditional art forms dating back 2500 years. Your role will also include attending and exhibiting these designs at trade fairs, presenting them to customers for evaluation, and negotiating contracts as necessary. To excel in this position, it is essential to stay updated with the latest fashion and textile design trends to ensure our offerings are in line with market expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing graphic templates and prospectus to support our end-to-end business model that spans from sourcing wool to exporting finished handmade rugs.
