Job Title: Textile Designer Department : Design Bed linens Location : Wagle Estate ,Thane Experience : 3-8 years Role Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bed Linens Designer with expertise in print design to join our team Product design and development : Product design and development Develop innovative and marketable print designs for textile products, including but not limited home furnishings, and accessories. Conduct thorough research on design trends, market demands, and customer preferences to inform your creative process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, merchandising, and production, to ensure designs meet quality standards, production requirements, and cost targets. Create and present design concepts, mood boards, and color palettes to internal stakeholders and clients for review and approval. Utilize design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite) and traditional techniques to create and refine print designs. Stay updated on emerging design technologies, techniques, and industry developments to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the team's innovation. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate translation of designs into production ready samples. Maintain organized design files, including documentation of design specifications, color standards, and print variations. Assist in the selection and sourcing of appropriate materials, fabrics, and printing techniques to achieve desired design outcomes. Adhere to project timelines and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality designs. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 3-8 years in textile design, with a focus on print design for bed linens or home furnishings. A degree from NIFT is preferred. Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with traditional design techniques. Creative Ability: Strong artistic sense with expertise in color, pattern, and print design. Attention to Detail: Ability to create designs that are visually appealing and easy to produce. Collaboration: Proven experience in working with teams, vendors, and suppliers. Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities for both internal and external interactions. Time Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Trend Awareness: Ability to stay current with design trends, consumer preferences, and innovations in the textile industry.
