Testing & Validation Engineer - Consumer Electronics

As a Test Engineer for home appliances, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing test plans, protocols, and validation procedures. This includes conducting performance, durability, reliability, and safety testing according to internal requirements, Indian and international standards. You will document test results, analyze failures, and propose corrective actions. Additionally, you will collaborate with suppliers, Design, and Manufacturing teams to validate new product designs and changes, as well as support certification and regulatory compliance testing. Your qualifications should include a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering. You should have practical experience in product testing and problem-solving, demonstrated through a college project. Familiarity with DFMEA, RCA, 8D, MS Excel, and product testing is required. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Developing and executing test plans, protocols, and validation procedures - Conducting performance, durability, reliability, and safety testing - Documenting test results, analyzing failures, and proposing corrective actions - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate new product designs - Supporting certification and regulatory compliance testing - Maintaining and calibrating test equipment, fixtures, and lab instruments - Preparing and presenting test reports, dashboards, and validation summaries - Participating in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality - Supporting PDI at manufacturing partner Your competencies should include strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the flexibility to travel based on requirements.
