Job Description

Description : Testing Engineers ( Electrical ) ~ is responsible for testing of AC Induction motors ,

result entry into testing software with documentation and to manage Customer inspection &

Complying national/international standards.

• To capable for testing ( routine & type ) of MV Induction motor vide standard IEC 60034-2-1 /

IS 12615 / etc.

• To capable for checking of motor accessories eg. RTD / BTD / Heater etc. vide data sheet.

• To ensure proper maintenance & spare management for test plants through smooth

operation by reducing unexpected downtime.

• To ensure proper safety management by identifying hazards, assessing risks, and

implementing control measures.

• To interface with cross-functional teams like Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality and other

functions as necessary to provide daily qualitative production.

• To own the processes to establish and maintain the technical SOPs / JIBs / CJSAs to ensure

well managed work place.

• To Support the plant to establish requisite test set up for testing of IE3 / IE4 motors vide IEC

60034-2-1 complying to requirements including installation of Torque Transducer.

• To maintain testing devices / instruments / equipment(s) for delivering reliable values with

calibration management.

To capable for coordinating with customers or end users to organize final inspection
