Key Responsibilities Testing & Quality Control

• Conduct routine, type, and special tests on transformers:
• Ratio test, polarity test, insulation resistance test
• Induced voltage and applied voltage tests
• Short-circuit impedance test
• No-load and load loss measurement
• Temperature rise test
• Partial discharge and impulse tests (for high-voltage transformers)
• Perform pre-dispatch inspection (PDI) and final quality checks.
• Monitor test results and ensure compliance with customer specifications and QA/QC procedures.

Test Equipment & Setup

• Operate and maintain testing instruments (HV test sets, bridge test sets, current injection kits, Tan Delta kits, etc.).
• Calibrate instruments periodically.
• Prepare test setups and connections safely for various voltage levels.
