Key Responsibilities Testing & Quality Control Conduct routine, type, and special tests on transformers: Ratio test, polarity test, insulation resistance test Induced voltage and applied voltage tests Short-circuit impedance test No-load and load loss measurement Temperature rise test Partial discharge and impulse tests (for high-voltage transformers) Perform pre-dispatch inspection (PDI) and final quality checks. Monitor test results and ensure compliance with customer specifications and QA/QC procedures . Test Equipment & Setup Operate and maintain testing instruments (HV test sets, bridge test sets, current injection kits, Tan Delta kits, etc.). Calibrate instruments periodically. Prepare test setups and connections safely for various voltage levels.
