Role Summary

Performance Testing Architect

This role will define performance strategies, design test frameworks, architect scalable solutions, and guide technical teams in executing large-scale performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define

  end-to-end performance testing and engineering strategies

  for complex enterprise programs.

• Architect and implement performance test frameworks

  using tools such as

  JMeter

  ,

  LoadRunner

  ,

  Gatling

  ,

  k6

  , and

  NeoLoad

  .
• Conduct

  workload modelling

  , define

  SLAs/SLOs

  , and perform

  sizing and capacity planning

  .
• Lead

  performance test executions

  Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Scalability testing.
• Identify and resolve

  performance bottlenecks

  across application, database, infrastructure, and network layers.
• Develop

  performance dashboards and reports

  using

  Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog

  , or similar APM tools.
• Design

  CI/CD-integrated performance pipelines

  (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Implement

  shift-left performance engineering

  practices within Agile and DevOps environments.
• Provide

  technical leadership and mentorship

  to performance testing teams.
• Deliver

  performance tuning recommendations

  and optimization strategies to leadership and development teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 710+ years

  of experience in Performance Testing & Engineering.

• Expertise in JMeter

  (mandatory); additional experience with

  LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, or k6

  is advantageous.
• Strong hands-on experience in

  APM tools

  such as

  Perfmon, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or Datadog

  .
• Proven ability in

  application and system tuning

  across

  WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss

  ,

  JVM

  ,

  Databases

  (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server), caching layers, networks, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in

  scripting languages

  Python, Shell, Groovy, Java, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of

  HTTP, REST APIs, WebSocket, microservices

  , and

  cloud computing

  (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience in

  distributed load generation

  and

  containerized load testing

  (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD automation

  for continuous performance validation.
• Capability in

  profiling, heap/CPU analysis

  , and

  thread/GC dump debugging

  .

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to

  SRE

  ,

  Chaos Engineering

  Failover Testing

• Experience with

  mobile performance testing

• Knowledge of
