Role Overview: As a Tester/Automation at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Squad deliverables by testing new features with an end-to-end business view. You will be responsible for evangelizing test automation tools, driving test environment set up, and creating test data with a deep functional understanding of the business. Your involvement in Agile software development methodology will contribute to improving agility and reducing time to market without compromising on quality. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather process automation requirements - Conduct technical analysis and feasibility study on requirements - Write test cases based on complete business flow and acceptance criteria - Design a robust solution and implementation plan - Research and conduct POCs on JavaScript libraries as needed - Develop and maintain scripts according to the implementation plan, creating new utilities if necessary - Test entire scripts and document test results - Conduct continuous demonstrations with business stakeholders - Report progress using Agile team management tools like JIRA/Confluence - Document the entire project implementation - Govern quality throughout the SDLC lifecycle - Attend Squad ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings - Perform quality reviews of deliverables produced by squad members Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Banking/Finance Domain and Functional test preparation & execution - Good experience working with JavaScript scripting language - Basic understanding of web fundamentals like HTML and CSS - Hands-on experience with Test Management/test planning activities, designing test cases, user story/script creation, and execution - Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, etc. - Familiarity with various test levels and types including white/black box, system, performance, integration, regression testing - High analytical and technical capabilities - Experience with testing automation frameworks and tools - Proficiency with Agile Team management tools like JIRA and Confluence - Ability to promote Agile values and excellent communication skills - Experience working with distributed/multi-locations teams - Comfortable working in self-organized teams with stakeholders of various levels - Strong multitasking and priority management skills - Professional level of English proficiency Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including a comprehensive leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, childcare assistance benefit, sponsorship for industry-relevant certifications, Employee Assistance Program, Hospitalization Insurance, Accident and Term life Insurance, Health screening, training and development opportunities, coaching from experts, and a culture of continuous learning.
