Test Specialist Test Lead

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform

  platform bring-up and validation

  of Base OS (Linux distributions), FPGA/ASICs.
• Test and validate

  modular architecture

  components including hardware, HAL, controllers, partitions, and tenants.
• Conduct

  high availability (HA)

  , resource isolation, and multi-tenancy testing (Kubernetes K8s/K3s).
• Validate core features such as

  networking, security, logging, and operational management

  .
• Troubleshoot using

  CLI, REST API, and web UI tools

  .
• Verify health and diagnostics of hardware components (BIOS, Firmware, FPGA, interfaces, ports, fans, power supplies).
• Perform

  networking tests

  : IPv4/IPv6, L2/L3 connectivity, DHCP, DNS, NTP, VLAN tagging, VXLAN, IP routing.
• Utilize defect tracking tools like

  JIRA, Bugzilla

  for issue reporting and resolution.
• Create and maintain

  test documentation

  , coverage matrices, and automation workflows.
• Conduct

  scalability, endurance, and reliability testing

  for hardware/software limits.
• Perform

  throughput and latency testing

  of the data plane.
• Execute

  security and upgrade testing

  , including FIPS compliance and RBAC validation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of

  Linux OS

  , FPGA/ASICs, and modular hardware/software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with

  Kubernetes (K8s/K3s)

  and multi-tenancy environments.
• Proficiency in

  networking fundamentals

  and protocols (IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, VXLAN).
• Familiarity with

  defect tracking tools

  (JIRA, Bugzilla) and standardized documentation practices.
• Expertise in

  performance testing

  , scalability analysis, and reliability validation.
• Knowledge of

  security compliance

  (FIPS), RBAC, and lifecycle management.
