Test Manager (UAT/QA Lead)

You will play a key role as a Test Manager at Version 1, ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through meticulous testing and team leadership. Your responsibilities will include defining the test strategy, plan, and metrics, managing a team of testers, providing guidance and support, and overseeing the testing process to drive the overall testing strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for successful delivery, operating appropriate governance and controls, and serving as the main point of contact for customers during execution. Key Responsibilities: - Define Test Strategy, Test Plan, RTM, Testing metrics, and status reporting. - Conduct resource planning, manage and lead a team of testers, and provide guidance and mentoring. - Ensure successful delivery within time, cost, and budget constraints with deviations managed appropriately. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans based on project requirements. - Define testing scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with project timelines. - Perform various types of testing such as database, functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing. - Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders. - Review test cases and results thoroughly to identify defects and ensure quality standards adherence. - Implement testing best practices and support cross-functional teams in issue resolution and optimization. - Create and maintain documentation related to testing activities, including test plans, cases, and reports. - Support team members in test execution, defect triage, and UAT. Qualifications: - Around 15 years of experience in manual and automation testing. - Experience in test management, team management, and client interaction. - Strong expertise in defining test strategy, plan, metrics, status reporting, and risk management. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies with a deep understanding of Agile terms. - Good understanding of testing tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Postman, Jenkins, Java, Selenium, SQL, Jira, TestRail, and more. - Knowledge of CI/CD practices, strong communication skills, and stakeholder collaboration. - E2E business and system architecture understanding. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to testing and quality assurance.
