Description
The role of this position is to prepare test cases and conduct testing of the product/platform/solution that will be deployed at the client's end, ensuring that it meets 100% quality assurance standards. You will play a key role in comprehending the test requirements and designing test cases for the product. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating test plans based on business requirements and ensuring that the testable requirements are met. You will implement Wipro's testing methodology, including Model based testing, to achieve an efficient test generation process. Collaborating with the development team, you will identify and document test cases and ensure version control. Setting criteria, parameters, scope/in-scope of testing, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) will also be part of your responsibilities. Automation will be a crucial aspect of this role, involving tasks such as automating the test life cycle process using tools like VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. You will design and execute the automation framework and reporting, as well as develop and automate tests for software validation. It will be essential to set up test environments, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and execute these cases efficiently. You will also be responsible for ensuring that test defects are reported according to project/program/account norms, with clear descriptions and replication patterns. Detecting bug issues, preparing defect reports, and monitoring test progress will also be part of your duties. Maintaining high-quality interactions with customers, including through email communication, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette, will be crucial. Timely delivery of work status reports, test execution reports, and dashboard updates in the test management repository will also be required. Accurate effort updates in eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers will be necessary. Responding promptly to customer requests and ensuring no complaints, either internally or externally, will be vital for success in this role. In terms of performance parameters, you will be measured on your understanding of test requirements and test case design, ensuring error-free testing solutions, minimum process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance, and the number of automations done using VB macros. Efficient execution of test cases, high-quality reporting, on-time delivery, troubleshooting queries within the defined timeframe, and achieving a high Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score will also be key indicators of success in this role.,
