Test Engineer (Murex Treasury Application Tester)

The role of Murex Treasury Application Tester is crucial in ensuring the quality and stability of the Murex treasury platform. As a highly motivated and experienced professional with 4-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development and business teams. Your responsibilities will include understanding business requirements, designing and executing various types of tests, developing and maintaining automated test scripts, tracking and managing defects, and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, stay updated with the latest Murex releases, and work closely with the development team in an Agile environment. To excel in this role, you must possess strong expertise in Murex modules relevant to treasury functions, such as Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk Management, and Collateral Management. You should have experience in testing trade capture, pricing, risk calculations, reporting, and settlements functionalities within the Murex application. Proficiency in writing SQL queries, experience with test management tools, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent communication, collaboration, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are key attributes for success. While knowledge of financial markets and instruments is a plus, experience with Agile methodologies and test automation tools will be advantageous.
