Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Brightly, a Siemens company, a global leader in intelligent asset management solutions. As a Test Engineer (Automation), you will support the application platforms in the Engineering department, playing a crucial role in the success of the company with direct impacts on customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside top-notch engineers and product teams to design, implement, deliver, and support ambitious products and integrations. Key Responsibilities: - Have a strong inclination towards product quality - Develop and maintain test scripts based on provided functional and technical designs, functional test scripts, or ad hoc for bug fix testing - Experience in understanding user requirements, developing test cases, automation scripts, performing testing, debugging automation code, and providing comprehensive reports - Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment - Investigate defects for root cause analysis - Execute test cases, log defects, and maintain other test documentation - Track defects to closure Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience - 2-5 years of experience - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication and partnership skills - Bonus Points: - Experience with Appium - Exposure to public cloud platform - Certifications like ISQTB, Java, JavaScript, etc. Additional Details: The Brightly culture is centered around the values of Service, Ingenuity, Integrity, and Togetherness.
