Test Automation Specialist

Role Overview: As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at HARMAN Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS), you will be part of a global, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating innovative solutions by combining physical and digital technologies. Your role will involve testing high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications and contributing expertise across the entire software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with a talented software team to ensure the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications. Key Responsibilities: - Create test designs, processes, cases, and data based on business and technical requirements. - Execute testing activities following defined procedures and participate in testing plan walkthroughs. - Prepare and maintain reports related to software testing activities. - Develop and manage traceability matrices from business requirements to automated test cases. - Build, test, and configure automated test cases to validate business processes and application functionality. - Define, develop, and execute tests for basic, regression, load, and performance testing. - Collaborate effectively with development teams in an Agile environment. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in application testing and test automation methodologies. - Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, and familiarity with low-code/no-code automation platforms. - Strong knowledge of REST API, Microservices testing, Selenium WebDriver, .NET, C#, and Angular Web UI testing. - Experience with backend databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. - Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Python, TestNG, TestRail. - Ability to design and maintain test automation frameworks. - Knowledge of BDD frameworks and Gherkin syntax is advantageous.
