Test Automation Specialist

As a Senior Automation Tester at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Core Java and Python. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Core Java and Python. - Creating and executing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Building custom utilities and tools to support testing and development workflows. - Identifying and resolving coding issues quickly to ensure smooth and timely test execution. - Optimizing automation execution for faster release cycles and continuous delivery. - Working with Docker containers to manage test environments and simulate production-like setups. - Using Linux commands for log analysis, environment configuration, and troubleshooting. - Integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git. - Collaborating with developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Participating in Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. - Maintaining clear documentation of automation frameworks, utilities, and test results. - Staying updated with emerging tools and technologies in test automation and DevOps. The qualifications required for this role include: - Strong programming skills in Core Java and Python. - Proven experience in test automation framework development and maintenance. - Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux, Git, and Jenkins. - Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies. - Ability to quickly identify and resolve coding issues. - Experience in utility creation to enhance automation efficiency. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Self-starter with a passion for learning new technologies and driving innovation.
