Job Description

Let s do this. Let s change the world. Role is a critical member of Amgens the C3 Product team, responsible for leveraging Copado Robotic Testing to drive operational excellence and innovation for the companys intranet. This role involves developing, maintaining, and implementing automation scripts, designing robust test cases, and ensuring system performance through comprehensive testing in lower environments. The engineer collaborates closely with platform and product teams to implement updates, integrate improvements, and maintain the overall health of the testing environment. Additionally, they track and resolve errors, provide regular status updates, and align testing efforts with release schedules to support product launches and break-fixes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a proactive approach to enhance testing strategies and ensure the system operates at optimal levels.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and implement automation scripts using Copado Robotic Testing to ensure efficient testing workflows.
Monitor and refine automation scripts to align with evolving system requirements and ensure optimal performance.
Implement test cases and provide regular status reports to the team, summarizing key findings and progress.
Create and track JIRA tickets for errors identified during automation test executions, ensuring proper resolution.
Collaborate with the platform team to implement Copado Robotic Testing updates and maintain the overall health of the testing environment.
Design and develop robust test cases to evaluate multiple facets of the portals user experience and functionality.
Conduct comprehensive testing in lower environments to ensure system performance and user satisfaction.
Establish and maintain a regular cadence for implementing test suites, aligning with team schedules for releases and fixes.
Support testing efforts for product releases, break-fixes, and other critical updates as required.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve testing strategies and address potential issues proactively.
Ensure the testing environment and tools operate at optimal levels by identifying and resolving inefficiencies.

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree / Bachelors degree with 8 to 13 years of experience in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field

Must-Have Skills :

Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Copado CRT , Selenium, TestNG, or similar
Strong debugging skills and ability to use JIRA for error tracking and test management.
Experience in test automation lifecycle: scripting, execution, analysis, and maintenance
Experience in using GIT for branching, merging, and code reviews within test automation frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good-to-Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with Copado Robotic Testing tools
Experience with GIT or similar version control systems
Experience with CI/CD pipeline processes
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Apex) for creating and maintaining test automation scripts
Experience testing Salesforce based applications
Experience with Salesforce application testing, including creating robust test cases for portal user experiences
Knowledge of performance testing, load testing, or usability testing concepts
Understanding of performance optimization techniques in test automation and deployment processes
Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with visualization tools to monitor test execution metrics.
Professional certifications in Salesforce or Copado Robotic Testing

Soft Skills:

Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate and collaboration effectively
Demonstrated awareness of how to function in a team setting
Demonstrated teamwork and ownership of end-to-end testing activities
