Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Consultant to enhance our testing capabilities using Playwright. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in automated testing frameworks and a solid background in software testing methodologies. Key skills include proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, strong analytical abilities, and experience with CI/CD integration.

Main Responsibilities

The main duties of the Test Automation Consultant include:

• Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Collaborating with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
• Developing test plans and test cases.
• Staying updated with the latest Playwright features and best practices.
• Ensuring the implementation of best practices in test automation and continuous integration.
• Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to team members.
• Contributing to the development of testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Participating in sprint planning and agile development processes.
  

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Playwright Expert (2+) or Software Test Engineer (5+) with a strong focus on automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Playwright framework and its capabilities OR expert in creating/modifying frameworks using Selenium Java.
• Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient in test management tools and test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
