Position Summary
To increase the market position of divisions, regions, and group. Responsible for directing Distributors to maintain / increase sales volume and margin with existing and new accounts. Accountable for motivating and directing them to execute regional sales goals and long-term plans. Responsible for securing and maintaining regional distribution of products and maintaining effective agreements. Has accountability for Strategic Account development within region. Actively supports the Corporation's Win Strategy.Profitable growth of Fuel, Air and Oil filters in commercial vehicle, off-highway, mining and power generation market and Hydraulic Filters & Condition monitoring products in Industrial market. Proactively works with all divisional management and related support departments to ensure growth targets are met or exceeded.Responsibility for North & West RegionLocation: Noida, DelhiReports To : Platform Sales Manager, EMAM & HFF Distribution Filtration India
Responsibilities
- Conduct training programs to support distributors & their customers.
- Develop marketing and sales promotion programs for distribution & their end customers.
- Responsible for promotion of products
- Responsible for new distributor appointment.
- Build & Manage customer relations.
- Ensures sales goals are achieved. Actively calls on key accounts of distributors to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Ensures Parker products and services are meeting customer satisfaction levels and resolves conflict issues effectively and efficiently.
- Implements strategies to recognize new revenue and margin improvement opportunities.
- Strategically manages the development and implementation of appropriate responses from competitors.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provide reports, on a regular and/or monthly basis. Keeps management and managers aware of changes which would affect the distribution of Parker products.
- New product development plans and coordination with Engineering & operations team members.
Qualifications
- B.E (Mechanical) or any equivalent bachelor's degree. MBA Preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years sales experience in aftermarket preferably with knowledge of Fuel, Oil, Air & Hydraulic Filtration products and applications with competition and markets. Technical competence in Engineering / Manufacturing field.
- Prior experience in managing distribution channel is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
