Territory Manager, Sales

As a Territory Manager, Sales at Oxford University Press (OUP) in Chandigarh, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a globally respected institution dedicated to excellence in education. Your role will involve leading a sales target of INR 10 Mn+, engaging with approximately 150 prospective schools across Chandigarh (Tri-city) and Himachal Pradesh. You will play a crucial role in retaining and growing OUP's market share through the aggressive promotion of educational print and blended resources. Your responsibilities will include delivering exceptional after-sales support, conducting workshops, and driving the usage of platforms like Oxford Educate. You will be tasked with presenting and pitching OUP's product offerings effectively to school stakeholders, managing the distribution network, addressing queries, ensuring timely collections, and promoting OUP's library and reading resources to school libraries. Additionally, you will drive growth in the blended and digital product space through demos and customer engagement while maintaining accurate sales and competition data in Salesforce (iTrack). Your role will also involve planning and executing customer acquisition events and training sessions to contribute to strengthening OUP's brand image through innovative ground-level strategies. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant industry, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to travel extensively. An in-depth knowledge of the assigned territory's market and solution-oriented sales skills with exposure to digital tools are essential.
