Job Description

Position: Telematics Testing – Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead testing and system engineering activities for

    Telematics Control Units (TCU)

    .
  • Define and execute test plans for overall software sign-off across connected car and infotainment components.
  • Produce clear and concise

    requirements-based test reports

    and release notes.
  • Provide technical feedback to development teams on troubleshooting and operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with

    cybersecurity frameworks

    and perform vulnerability assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system validation.

Must-Have Skills

  • Telematics Domain Expertise:

    Hands-on experience in automotive telematics systems.

  • Wireless Technology Knowledge:

    GSM, CDMA, LTE, 3G, 4G, 5G (SA & NSA), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, C-V2X.

  • Cybersecurity Concepts:

    Cryptography algorithms, security software libraries, SELinux-based access control.

  • Testing Techniques:

    Unit testing, white-box testing, penetration testing, fuzz testing.

  • Network Protocols:

    TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP/HTTPS, DHCP, NTP.
