Job Description

Description

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Rigger/Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
Perform site surveys and assess installation sites for safety and equipment requirements.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper installation and functionality of telecom systems.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on telecom towers and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signal quality and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installations and repairs.
Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in telecommunications installation or maintenance.
Proficient in working at heights and using safety harnesses and climbing gear.
Strong understanding of telecom equipment and systems, including antennas, cables, and transmitters.
Familiarity with RF signal testing and measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
