Job Description

Position: Telecom engineer

Your tasks & responsibilities

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

Ensure technical compliance with customer specifications and conduct thorough checks and approvals for all project stages.
Prepare project specifications, preliminary drawings, block diagrams, and necessary calculations according to customer requirements.
Review and technically evaluate vendor bids, participate in the vendor selection process, and review vendor document submissions.
Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to ensure the proposed system meets expectations and coordinate with other systems/packages for seamless interface integration.
Design and develop detailed system designs, including diagrams and schematics, while preparing drawings and specifications for equipment procurement.
Select appropriate telecom equipment and develop comprehensive material listings for project needs.
Provide input for the preparation of various reports such as weight, equipment lists, function, and details related to fabrication and installation.
Maintain professional responsibility and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project coherence and integrity.

Your profile & qualifications

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

3+ Years of experience working with different telecommunication systems.
A degree in electronic, telecommunications engineering or similar, but we are open to most technical and engineering backgrounds.
Fluency in English, verbal and written.
Experience in the energy industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
