Department: Sales & Marketing

Industry: Ductile Iron Pipes & Fittings / Water Infrastructure / Industrial Products

Experience Required: 1–3 years in telecalling, inside sales, or customer service (B2B/industrial preferred)

Reports To: DGM - Business Development

Location: Head Office, Kolkata

Position Summary

The Telecaller will support the sales team by reaching out to prospective clients, contractors, distributors, and government authorities. Responsibilities include lead generation, follow-up on tenders, data collection, and scheduling meetings for the field sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients, contractors, and distributors for DI pipes & fittings.
  • Follow up with existing leads, inquiries, and tenders to ensure timely updates.
  • Collect project and market intelligence data via phone/email.
  • Coordinate with Sales Managers to schedule meetings and client visits.
  • Maintain detailed records of calls, conversations, and leads in Excel.
  • Provide customer support, share product details, and escalate technical queries to sales engineers.
  • Assist in pre-qualification documentation follow-up with clients.
  • Support marketing campaigns by calling invitees for trade shows, exhibitions, and product launches.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline (Business/Commerce preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, sales coordination, or inside sales (industrial/B2B exposure desirable).
  • Good communication in English and Hindi, and Bengali
  • Familiarity with Data Management, MS Excel, and email communication.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal communication and convincing ability.
  • Customer-oriented with ability to build rapport over calls.
  • Organized, with attention to detail in data entry and follow-ups.
  • Quick learner with basic knowledge of sales processes and tenders.
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate with multiple sales regions.
