A telecaller's job involves contacting customers to promote products, generate leads, and provide customer service through phone calls. Key responsibilities include making outbound sales calls, handling inbound inquiries, scheduling appointments, documenting interactions in a CRM system, and resolving complaints. Success in the role requires excellent verbal communication, persuasion, active listening, and the ability to manage rejection and meet sales targets.
*Outbound Calling: Making calls to potential and existing customers to promote services, explain product features, and schedule appointments.

  • Inbound Calling: Answering customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving complaints over the phone.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Identifying and qualifying sales leads, fostering relationships with prospects, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, updating databases, and entering call details.
  • Sales and Target Achievement: Persuading customers to make purchases, meeting sales quotas, and contributing to team performance.
  • Customer Support: Providing excellent customer service and acting as a point of contact for product or service-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication, active listening skills, and the ability to persuade and adapt speaking styles to different customers.
  • Sales Acumen: Persuasive attitude, ability to handle objections and rejection, and negotiation skills to close sales.
  • Customer Service: Ability to listen to customer needs, provide suitable solutions, and maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for data entry, proficiency in CRM software, and familiarity with telephone systems.
  • Personal Attributes: Time management, multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, though experience in sales or customer service can be advantageous.
  • Telecaller timing -10 am to 5 pm{ monday to saturday}
