Job Description

The Awards & Nominations Manager is responsible for identifying, managing, and executing award submission opportunities that elevate the organization’s brand, talent, and achievements. This role involves coordinating the full lifecycle of award entries—from research and strategy to content development, submission, and post-award communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and track relevant industry awards, grants, fellowships, and recognition programs.
  • Develop an annual awards strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and requirements for all award submissions.
  • Collaborate with leadership, communications, and subject-matter experts to gather information and craft compelling nominations.
  • Write, edit, and refine nomination materials, ensuring high-quality storytelling and alignment with award criteria.
  • Maintain a centralized database of awards, submissions, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate assets such as bios, photos, project summaries, and supporting documents.
  • Partner with internal teams to secure approvals and ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee submission logistics and follow-up communications with award organizations.
  • Track results and manage post-award announcements, including press releases and internal communications.
  • Analyze trends in award wins/losses to improve future submissions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with award bodies, industry groups, and judges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in awards management, communications, proposals, or related functions.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple concurrent submissions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific award programs (optional, depending on field).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in PR, marketing, or strategic communications.
  • Ability to interpret award criteria and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • Knowledge of content management tools or award submission platforms.
  • Strong portfolio of successful submissions (optional).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
