Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Modeler located in India. The Modeler will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and 3D models of steel structures. Day-to-day tasks include preparing erection and fabrication drawings, generating CNC machine files, producing material order lists, creating connection calculation reports, and maintaining detailed project documentation. The Modeler will work closely with the project team to ensure the accuracy and quality of all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience with structural steel detailing, miscellaneous steel detailing, joist detailing, and deck detailing
• Proficiency in preparing fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and CNC machine files (DXF, NC, STEP, etc.)
• Skilled in using detailing software such as Tekla EPM / Tekla PowerFab, IFC Model, CAD Model, and CAD Drawings
• Strong understanding of AISC, OSHA, and CISC standards
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in producing detailed drawings and reports
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with the steel fabrication industry is a plus
