Job Description

As a Technology Support III team member in the Chief Technology Office team, you play a crucial role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of production application flows. Your expertise will be pivotal in troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for both internally and externally developed systems, contributing to a seamless user experience. You are expected to encourage a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving throughout the operational processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to facilitate successful business operations of the firm. - Utilize operational and development expertise to establish proactive monitoring and contribute to auto-healing during system failures. - Collect, analyze, synthesize, and present visualizations and reports on app/system health, uptime, performance improvements, and change/capacity management of the supported services. - Collaborate closely with the development team to enhance reliability, identify incident patterns, conduct post-mortems, develop permanent remediation plans, and implement automation to prevent future incidents. - Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns, ensuring maximum speed of delivery by proactively addressing service disruptions. **Qualifications Required:** - 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services, or equivalent expertise. - Proficiency in platform skills including Linux, UNIX, and Windows, as well as application/middleware support knowledge. - Hands-on experience with Automation and Configuration tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python and Java. - Experience in managing critical application outages in large-scale operations, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation. - Proficiency in instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and responding using tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, etc. - Experience with Jenkins, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Agile, and Scrum practices. The job also requires understanding concepts and principles behind DevOps and SRE, along with knowledge of Cloud Engineering, private cloud principles, and exposure to public cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar technologies.,
