Description
As a Technology Resilience Engineer - Networks at Fidelity International, you will play a critical role in strengthening the network and connectivity resilience posture across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments. Your primary focus will be on engineering resilience, redundancy, and recovery capabilities into global network infrastructures such as WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Cloud interconnectivity to ensure critical services remain available, secure, and compliant with operational resilience regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a consultative network resilience engineer and subject matter expert, driving the embedding of resilient network design principles across technology with a focus on critical and evolving regulations related to technology and operational resilience. - Design, architect, and implement network resilience solutions aligned with business continuity objectives and tolerance levels. - Advise technology teams on resilient architecture patterns, failover strategies, and redundancy design. - Collaborate with network operations, architecture, and cyber security teams to embed resilience into network topology and design lifecycles. - Conduct resilience and recovery testing for network infrastructure across regions and services. - Evaluate new network technologies, tools, and automation capabilities to enhance resilience and observability. - Ensure network designs and operational procedures comply with regulatory standards such as FCA, PRA, DORA, and equivalent global standards. Qualifications Required: - Strong background in network infrastructure engineering, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN architectures. - Expertise in cloud networking, network segmentation, zero trust architectures, and network security principles. - Familiarity with operational resilience regulations and observability tools. - Proficient in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks for network management. - Experience working with third-party service providers to ensure resilience objectives are met. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. - Effective communicator capable of engaging with technical engineers and senior stakeholders.
