Job Description

The Technology Modernization Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting and guiding program activities, as well as driving the development and execution of a future state design, which includes the operating model and transformation reporting. Acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, you will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for stakeholders. This role requires initiative, independent thinking, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting aggressive deadlines. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success in this role, as well as a keen interest in working in a professional, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: - Lead the end-to-end planning and management of small to medium cross-technology team initiatives. - Organize and control the activities of cross-functional project teams. - Develop and maintain an end-to-end project plan, preferably in Jira, and manage resource forecasts and cost plans. - Provide updates on OKRs, project execution metrics, outcomes, and project ROI. - Coordinate communication across multiple project stakeholders, translating technical details into executive-level insights. - Identify and implement best practices for project management. - Understand the impact of problems across the organization and facilitate collaborative solutions. - Coordinate with various teams to communicate, negotiate, and manage tasks effectively. Requirements: - 10+ years of experience in IT, preferably within the Financial Services industry. - Strong Project Management skills with experience in managing Clarity projects, including budget, resources, reporting, etc. - Interact with Project Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand project status and maintain details in Clarity. - Complete Project status reporting for senior management and align with Program objectives. - Drive project escalations to closure and maintain project reporting for agreed cadence. - Proactive self-starter with the ability to identify project issues, propose solutions, and lead their implementation. - Excellent communication skills, including the confidence to deliver challenging messages to senior and executive management. - Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word is required.
