Techno-Functional Consultant D-365 CRM & Power Platform (Contractual)

Role Purpose:

Configure, optimize and extend the Dynamics 365 CRM ecosystem (Sales, Service, Marketing + custom apps) by translating business processes into system design, building high-impact automation, and designing & implementing integrations and data flows. The role ensures a trusted single customer view, high data quality, and future-ready architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Map and document current and future state business processes (lead to order, service case escalation, cluster segmentation etc.).
• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 entities, forms, business rules, views, security roles, and model-driven apps.
• Build and maintain low-code automation using Power Automate (web form lead creation, routing, campaign responses, notifications).
• Design and implement integrations via Power Automate connectors, Azure Logic Apps or custom connectors between CRM and external systems.
• Develop staging, data-flow pipelines, monitoring, deduplication, enrichment logic and dashboards to maintain data quality, latency and error-handling.
• Create Power BI or Microsoft Fabric reports and dashboards for data-quality metrics, engagement scoring, and business insights.
• Collaborate with Solution Architect to align build activities with long-term architecture, governance standards, scalability and AI-readiness.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, change-management and handover to operations.
• Maintain documentation of solution design, data mappings, field-level ownership, runbooks, and integration logs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years experience in Dynamics 365 CRM / Power Platform (application configuration, automation, integrations).
• Proven experience with data integration concepts (ETL/dataflows), connectors/API (REST, OData), data quality frameworks.
• Strong functional knowledge of CRM processes across Sales, Service and Marketing (and optionally operations).
• Hands-on skills: Power Automate, Dataverse schema, security modelling; bonus: JavaScript/plug-in development, SQL, Azure Logic Apps.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in agile sprint teams and deliver tactical quick-wins while contributing to strategic architecture.
