Job Profile

Title: Technician (Wireman)

Qualifications: ITI Electrician

Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in wiring and assembly of control panels

Key Responsibilities:

Wiring of control panels based on electrical drawings. (Starters, PLC Panels, Converters, Embedded systems)

Install components such as relays, circuit breakers, switches and control devices on chassis as per GA

drawings and mounting arrangements.

Mount and secure components, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.

Cut, strip, and crimp wires to make connections.

Terminate wires at control devices, terminal blocks, and other points as required.

Ensure that wiring is neatly organized and properly labelled.

Diagnose and resolve issues with wiring, connections, and components.

Cross checking of Bill of Material and material provided by store before assembly.

Provide technical support and assistance to other technicians and engineers.

Skillset:

Read and understand the GA drawings, control diagrams, power diagrams

Strong understanding of electrical and electronics components, materials and wiring schematics.

Candidate should have very good understanding of electrical fundamentals.

Knowledge of various electrical testing tools is mandatory.

Familiarity with testing equipments like megger, HV tester, power supplies

Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for long periods, bending and lifting heavy components

Problem-solving abilities to diagnose and fix wiring issues efficiently.

Experience in electronic/electrical control panel manufacturing industry preferred.

Experience in Defence Company with above skillset will be an added advantage.
