Position Overview: The Production & Outbound Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all finished products meet the company's quality standards before they are dispatched to customers. This role involves inspecting, testing, and verifying that power electronic products comply with internal specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements. This also includes ensuring that the packaging is correct and the invoicing is correct and the right serial numbers are being dispatched Key Responsibilities: Perform quality checks on finished goods including visual inspection, functional testing, and documentation review. Verify that production output meets defined quality standards and specifications. Inspect outbound shipments to ensure only conforming products are dispatched. Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, and certificates of conformity. Identify and report non-conformities; coordinate with production and engineering teams for corrective actions. Ensure proper handling, storage, and packaging of finished goods as per company standards. Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures for recurring issues. Support audits (internal and external) related to production and outbound quality. Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, safety, and environmental policies. Maintain inspection tools and test equipment in good working condition. Provide feedback to production and quality teams for continuous improvement. Key Requirements: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline. 35 years of experience in production and outbound quality inspection, preferably in power electronics, electrical equipment, or similar industries. Good knowledge of power electronic products such as inverters, converters, UPS, or similar devices. Familiarity with industry quality standards (ISO 9001, IEC standards, etc.). Experience in using electrical and electronic testing instruments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. May require extended hours to meet production and dispatch schedules. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality improvement tools (e.g., 5S, 7QC tools, root cause analysis). Experience with ERP or quality management systems. The Technology Specialist is responsible for design and development of reliable and cost-effective Power electronic products which satisfy the business needs of TMEIC India. The position requires excellent technical engineering knowledge coupled with proficiency in product development and quality systems with a constant eye for improvements. Experience: Must have 2 to 6 Years of Experience in Firmware Design in following areas: Writing control algorithm loops for AC-DC converter or DC-DC converter or DC-AC inverter Simulation or coding experience in designing digital filters, signal processing and PID controls. Experience in writing clean and manageable C code with proper documentation. Testing and evaluating the firmware (on bench / on system/ on field) Able to understand existing code and modify as per the new requirements. Experience in board level debugging using multimeter and oscilloscope, by referring schematics. Version Control in Git or equivalent Adaptable to changing requirements and feedback. Desired experience: Experience in working on C-HIL systems like Typhoon HIL/ RTDS or equivalent. Worked on a complex firmware development project (100s of C files) Able to use communication libraries and other supporting features in the code. Experience in control algorithms for PV Inverter, UPS, Induction/Synchronous motors. Knowledge Solid knowledge of Firmware development, Embedded C, C2000 microcontrollers. Expert in programming Microcontroller in Embedded C standard programming practices and multicore microcontroller devices.
