Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Technician (Heavy Commercial Vehicles):

Perform regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles (HCVs).
Inspect vehicle systems (engine, brakes, suspension, transmission, etc.) to identify mechanical issues.
Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and repair or replace defective parts.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and performance.
Maintain service records, job cards, and report issues to supervisors.
Ensure all maintenance work is performed according to safety and quality standards.
Assist in major overhauls and mechanical upgrades when required.

Electrician (Heavy Commercial Vehicles):

Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, circuits, lighting, and control systems in HCVs.
Troubleshoot electrical faults in engines, alternators, batteries, and other components.
Install and repair electrical accessories and equipment in vehicles.
Ensure proper functioning of electrical and electronic systems (ABS, ECU, lighting, etc.).
Perform regular electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.
Follow safety protocols while working with electrical systems.
Collaborate with technicians for integrated mechanical-electrical issues.
