Job Description

Swinnovate is an early stage, fast paced startup with a small team that is building innovative education focussed products. We are looking for a full time Technical Writer with Java programming knowledge, and a strong passion for creating educational video content.

Qualifications:

No engineering degree required. High school or equivalent with Java programming knowledge is the minimum qualification required.

Requirements:

Basic programming skills in Java (classes, subclasses, generic methods, method overloading, method overriding, etc.) required.
Concise and clear English communication skills.
Latex : Able to write equations, figures and tables.
Vector graphics : Able to draw SVG diagrams in Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, or other vector graphic design software.

Responsibilities:

Write technical content, create drawings, graphs and animated video content after reading relevant material on a subject.
Create visual animations wherever it helps to describe the concept.
Provide illustrative examples as applicable to explain the concept.
