Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer at SS Innovations Private Limited located in Udyog Vihar, Phase-III, Gurgaon, Haryana, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user manuals, parts manuals, and field service manuals for advanced surgical robotics devices. Your role will involve writing and editing technical documents with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards such as Simplified Technical English (STE 100). Collaboration with engineering, product design, and quality teams will be essential to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into concise, user-friendly documentation. You will utilize tools like SolidWorks and other CAD tools to create detailed technical drawings and diagrams, while also designing and formatting technical publications for journals, white papers, and research publications using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Managing the documentation lifecycle, including version control, updates, and compliance with regulatory standards for medical devices, will be part of your responsibilities. Your role will also involve ensuring that all documents meet company quality standards and external regulatory requirements. Leveraging professional English writing skills, you will produce engaging and professional content for diverse audiences, including surgeons, field service engineers, and regulatory agencies. Maintaining a repository of documents to ensure accessibility for cross-functional teams and contributing to the development of high-impact research papers and articles for submission to leading journals and publications will also be part of your duties. Qualification Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field preferred) - Strong familiarity with medical devices, surgical robotics, or electromechanical systems highly desirable - Certification or proven expertise in Simplified Technical English (STE 100) preferred - Demonstrated experience in technical writing with a portfolio showcasing user manuals, technical guides, or published research papers - Proficiency in SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other technical drawing and publishing tools Required Skills: - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to present technical information clearly, concisely, and accurately - Strong understanding of technical writing best practices, including structured content and visual communication techniques - Proficient in creating high-quality 2D/3D illustrations and technical diagrams - Excellent research and analytical skills to interpret complex technical information - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration - Familiarity with medical device regulatory documentation standards is a plus If you have the relevant experience and skills for this position, please mail your resumes and cover letters to hr@ssinnovations.org.,
