Technical Technician

As a Technical Technician at TTE located in Middlesbrough College, your role will involve providing hands-on support to teaching staff in workshop environments to ensure the smooth running of practical lessons. Your responsibilities will include managing stock, preparing workshops, conducting safety checks, and supporting students during practical activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage stock of consumables and equipment, including deliveries and secure storage. - Prepare workshops ahead of practical sessions and support teaching staff during lessons. - Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance routines in line with Health & Safety procedures. - Maintain tidy and safe workshop and storage areas. - Support students during practical activities and contribute to their learning experience. - Support workshop modifications. **Essential Qualifications:** - GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent). - Commitment to professional development and mandatory training. **Desirable:** - Relevant trade qualification in Engineering. In this role, you are expected to have experience working in a workshop or stores environment, the ability to carry out engineering workshop activities, basic knowledge of engineering workshop rules and regulations, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
