Technical Systems Engineer - HPC + NVIDIA GPU + DGX ( AI Infra Engineer)

As a member of Cisco's Information Technology team, you will play a crucial role in building and managing the internal AI platform. You will lead the design and implementation of a GPU compute cluster to run deep learning and high-performance computing workloads. Your responsibilities will include AI hardware analysis, design, procurement, and support. You will also be involved in automating configuration management, software updates, and maintenance of GPU systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to advance artificial intelligence platforms, administer Linux systems, and stay updated on industry advancements. Key Responsibilities: - Build and support NVIDIA-based AI platforms - Plan, install, and upgrade systems supporting NVIDIA DGX hardware and software - Automate configuration management and monitoring using DevOps tools - Lead advancements in AI platforms and practices - Collaborate with internal teams and technical domains - Design tools for monitoring system health and alerts - Maintain service availability and performance metrics Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, EE, CE, or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in deploying and administrating HPC clusters - Proficiency in GPU resource scheduling managers and Hybrid Cloud technologies - Deep understanding of operating systems, networks, and high-performance applications - Familiarity with project tracking tools, version control systems, and CI/CD systems - Experience with programming languages and Agile/DevOps operating models - Strong dedication to customer support and leadership in technical initiatives At Cisco, you will be part of a team that designs and develops Hybrid-Cloud compute platforms critical to the organization's operations.
