Technical Systems Engineer - HPC + NVIDIA GPU + DGX ( AI Infra Engineer)

As a key member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services (CIPS) team at Cisco, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing the internal AI platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and supporting NVIDIA-based artificial intelligence platforms. - Planning, building, and installing/upgrading systems supporting NVIDIA DGX hardware and software. - Automating configuration management, software updates, and maintenance of GPU systems using DevOps tools. - Leading advancements in artificial intelligence platforms. - Administering Linux systems, including GPU-enabled servers. - Collaborating with internal Cisco Business Units and application teams. - Creating technical designs, documents, and presentations. - Staying updated with AI industry advancements and technologies. - Designing tools for monitoring alerts and system health. You will work as part of a hardware and software engineering team focusing on designing and developing Hybrid-Cloud compute platforms critical for maintaining Cisco's business applications and processes. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A BA, BS, or MS in CS, EE, CE, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience in deploying and administrating HPC clusters. - Proficiency in GPU resource scheduling managers and Hybrid Cloud technologies. - Deep understanding of operating systems, computer networks, and high-performance applications. - Familiarity with project tracking tools, version control systems, and CI/CD systems. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python, GoLang, C/C++. - Experience with Agile and DevOps operating models. - Demonstrated leadership in technical initiatives and delivering results.
