Role Overview: As an Integration Specialist for LIMS at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., you will be responsible for integrating various lab instruments and software with the LIMS application to establish a paperless environment in QC/R&D Labs. Your role will involve understanding laboratory workflows, implementing instrument connectivity techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the LIMS meets the organization's requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Support the integration of QC/R&D lab instruments with the LIMS application during its implementation at different SUN Pharma locations. - Develop and execute test scripts and necessary documentation for validation activities. - Configure the LIMS software to align with specific requirements during instrument integration. - Provide training and support to end-users to ensure proficient usage of the LIMS. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to LIMS performance, functionality, and integration with other systems/instruments. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of the LIMS implementation process, including user guides and technical manuals. - Ensure proper documentation of the LIMS application in compliance with GMP standards and manage documentation to uphold system compliance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum 4-5 years of experience in LIMS implementation and Instrument Integration, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. - Strong understanding of laboratory processes and workflows. - Proficiency in Lab Software functionalities such as Empower, LabSolutions, Chromeleon. - Knowledge of data extraction/connectivity methodologies for port-based instruments like balances and pH meters. - Expertise in LIMS software, with a preference for CaliberLIMS. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with regulatory compliance requirements such as FDA, GMP, GLP.
