Technical Specialist

Role Overview: White Rabbit Group is seeking a Technical Specialist with deep CMS development expertise and architectural thinking to define and deliver high-performing CMS solutions. As a Technical Specialist, your role is crucial in designing scalable solutions, guiding teams, ensuring technical excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges. This position serves as the perfect bridge role to grow into a full-fledged Technical Architect. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement CMS architectures aligned with scalability, performance, and security standards. - Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to prepare technical effort estimates, solution approaches, and feasibility assessments for new projects. - Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans. - Lead API-based integrations (REST, GraphQL) and headless CMS solutions. - Review and guide development work to maintain code quality, consistency, and maintainability. - Work closely with UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless project delivery. - Mentor developers, providing technical guidance and support in CMS best practices. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency optimization within the CMS team. - Balance multiple assignments effectively while maintaining focus on quality and deadlines. - Demonstrate strong organizational discipline, adhering to defined processes, documentation, and review practices. - Maintain proactive communication, collaborating synchronously and asynchronously across teams. Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in CMS development, with hands-on exposure to front-end and back-end technologies. - Expert-level skills in WordPress (themes, plugins, multisite) and Shopify; familiarity with Craft CMS or other enterprise CMS platforms is a plus. - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS / Vue.js, and responsive web design principles. - Experience with headless CMS, API-driven integrations, and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA), security best practices, and performance optimization.
