Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to provide support for IT project deployments at multiple locations. As a Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end setup and troubleshooting of desktops, user management, basic server/storage configuration, and ensuring smooth IT infrastructure execution at client sites. Your key responsibilities will include: Desktop Deployment & Troubleshooting: Installing and configuring desktop hardware and software, performing OS installation, imaging, and upgrades, as well as troubleshooting desktop/laptop hardware, software, and applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite. User & Application Management: Managing users in O365 and Google Workspace (Gsuite), performing user management in Active Directory, and troubleshooting user access issues in enterprise applications. Peripheral Device Setup: Installing and configuring printers, scanners, and imaging devices, as well as resolving peripheral device issues. Network Troubleshooting: Handling basic LAN/WAN connectivity issues and escalating network-related issues when necessary. Data Backup & Recovery: Assisting in user data backups and recovery, using backup tools for critical systems and end-user devices. OEM Call Management: Logging and managing support calls with OEMs, handling warranty coordination, parts replacement, and escalation. Project Deployment Support: Assisting in IT project rollouts including infrastructure readiness and documenting procedures, configurations, and deployment guides. Requirements: Educational Qualification: Graduate (Any stream) or relevant field experience. Experience: Minimum 2 years in IT deployment or technical support. Technical Skills: Good understanding of systems and OS installations, proficiency in desktop hardware and enterprise applications, O365 and Gsuite user management, Active Directory user and group management, basic networking (LAN/WAN) knowledge, familiarity with ticketing systems and OEM processes. Soft Skills: Strong communication and documentation skills, good problem-solving ability, able to work independently and in a team. Preferred: Relevant IT certifications. Experience with IT project lifecycles and deployments.
