Job Description

You will be joining SECCOM as a Manager in the Technical Proposal Center team. SECCOM is a leading AV and Networking Systems Integrator and Solutions Provider, known for its Technology Leading, High Quality, and Cost-Effective solutions such as Video Conferencing, Video Surveillance, Unified Communications, and more. In your role as a Manager, your main responsibilities will include: - Leading, mentoring, and managing a high-performing team of technical engineers in areas of AV, networking, and pre-sales. - Conducting training programs, tracking certifications, and promoting hands-on learning using tools like AutoCAD. - Providing regular feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development for team members. - Managing staffing plans, optimizing team utilization, and implementing strategies for career growth and talent retention. - Coordinating with sales and technical leads to prepare engineers for client briefings and presales discussions. - Ensuring engineers are well-equipped for AV and networking solutioning, including requirement gathering and pricing strategy development. - Overseeing the accuracy and compliance of solution designs with tender specifications. - Driving consistency in documentation practices and pricing tools across all projects. - Supporting bid proposals, managing team participation, and reviewing submission quality. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key OEMs in the industry. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of technical engineers. - Conduct training programs, track certifications, and promote hands-on learning. - Provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support career development. - Manage staffing plans, optimize team utilization, and retain top talent. - Coordinate with sales and technical leads for client briefings and presales discussions. - Ensure engineers are equipped for AV and networking solutioning. - Drive consistency in documentation practices and pricing tools. - Support bid proposals and maintain relationships with key OEMs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related technical field. - 8-12 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in people management roles. - Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills. - Experience in bid management, proposal reviews, and strategic pricing support. - Understanding of AV and Networking domains, including presales and implementation lifecycle.
