Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and in line with organisational objectives.
Facilitate core Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog grooming to foster collaboration and efficiency.
Build and maintain a detailed backlog, translating epics and features into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Proactively resolve blockers and manage dependencies to maintain project momentum.
Maintain clear documentation, report project updates, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
Collaborate with product owners and engineering leads to refine priorities, scope tasks, and drive continuous improvement.
Work with architects and engineers to validate technical feasibility, sequencing, and trade-offs.
Define MVP slices to enable incremental delivery and value realisation.
Ensure delivered stories meet both business outcomes and technical quality standards.
Support PI Planning by preparing backlog items, clarifying requirements, and highlighting dependencies.
Partner with Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Scrum Masters to track progress, resolve issues, and manage risks.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including facilitating ceremonies across multiple teams.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., ADO, Lucid, Aha, Jira).
Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies and resolve blockers in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with modern software development workflows, including CI/CD, version control, APIs, and cloud-native environments.
Excellent documentation, stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, or Product Manager in a SAFe or scaled Agile environment.
Expertise in backlog management, story decomposition, and defining acceptance criteria.
Technical fluency in software architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud, or data concepts.
SAFe POPM (Product Owner/Product Manager) certification preferred.
