Technical Product Director - Application Platform, Chase Travel

We are searching for an exceptional Director of Product to lead the Application Platform team within Chase Travel. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping the strategy and execution of products that enable developers to easily build, deploy, and scale our Travel applications. Your primary focus will be on creating top-notch developer tools, APIs, SDKs, and documentation that not only satisfy our developers across all Travel verticals but also drive business growth through the implementation of foundational technology. Your key responsibilities will include defining and executing the product vision and strategy for the entire Application Platform portfolio, collaborating with executives and peers within Chase Travel to ensure alignment with overall business objectives, and fostering relationships with key technology stakeholders. Furthermore, you will coach and mentor the product team on best practices to enhance their effectiveness in achieving objectives and establish metrics and KPIs to gauge developer satisfaction, adoption, and business impact. You will also oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in a senior software contributor, technical product owner, or software architect role. You must possess extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics, along with a proven ability to drive the adoption of key product life cycle activities. Additionally, advanced experience with APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and developer ecosystems is essential, as well as a track record of driving organizational change and managing stakeholders across different functions. Expertise in executive stakeholder management is also crucial. Preferred qualifications include a background in software engineering or technical architecture, active participation or familiarity with modern developer environments, involvement in open source software communities, and architectural knowledge of complex distributed systems. Knowledge or experience in secure PCI environments, UI component libraries and frameworks, data patterns, stores, queues, and streaming systems is advantageous. Experience with languages and frameworks such as .NET, Java, Spring, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, and React is also beneficial.,
