As a Technical Officer at the Department of Microbiology, Kasturba Medical College (KMC) in Mangalore under the State Reference Laboratory and Viral Load Laboratory, funded by NACO/Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS) in Bengaluru, your role will involve the following: Key Responsibilities: - Essential Qualification required for this position is a B.Sc. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences. - Desirable Qualification includes an M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or a B.Tech in Biotechnology. - Essential Experience comprises 5 years of experience for candidates with B.Sc. and 2 years of experience for candidates with M.Sc./B.Tech in the mentioned subjects. - Preference will be given to candidates with experience in accredited labs or labs that have applied for accreditation. Qualification Required: - B.Sc. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences. - M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or B.Tech in Biotechnology is desirable. - Experience of 5 years for B.Sc. candidates and 2 years for M.Sc./B.Tech candidates in a diagnostic laboratory is essential. The monthly remuneration for this position is Rs. 35,000. The duration of the project is one year.
