Technical Manager / Technical Director – Chemical & Dry Cargo Vessels

Company Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Manager / Technical Director with strong technical expertise in managing Chemical and Dry Cargo vessels. The ideal candidate should be based in Mumbai and will operate primarily from our Mumbai office, but must be open to travelling outside Mumbai as and when required for inspections, audits, or vessel-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee technical operations and performance of Chemical and Dry vessels.

Ensure vessels comply with all statutory, class, and company requirements.

Coordinate dry dockings, repairs, and routine maintenance.

Monitor budgets and manage technical documentation and reporting.

Liaise with vessel crew, vendors, classification societies, and authorities.

Requirements:

Chief Engineer / Senior Technical Superintendent / Marine Engineer background preferred.

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in a similar role with Chemical and Dry vessels.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Willingness to travel as per operational requirements.
