Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Valuation & Assessment Conduct physical site visits and assess the property proposed as collateral. Evaluate property type, construction quality, legal approvals, age, and market value. Prepare detailed technical reports with valuation, observations, and risk highlights. Monitor adherence to regulatory and internal valuation norms. 2. Vendor & Valuer Management Empanel external valuers and ensure their timely delivery of quality reports. Audit and review third-party valuer reports to avoid discrepancies or overvaluation. Train valuers on internal valuation parameters and compliance requirements. 3. Loan Processing Support Assist the credit team by providing technical clearance and insights on property risk. Validate title documents in coordination with legal for completeness and correctness. Highlight risks related to encroachments, structural defects, or marketability. 4. Portfolio & Risk Monitoring Periodically review properties in the active portfolio to ensure continued asset quality. Provide inputs for policy formulation and technical appraisal processes. Flag high-risk locations or properties to risk and underwriting teams. Preferred candidate profile B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Minimum 310 years of experience in technical/property valuation, preferably in NBFCs, Banks, or Housing Finance Companies. Exposure to retail LAP, SME LAP, or Home Loan segments. Knowledge of local property laws, municipal approvals, and valuation methodologies.
